Navy first, business second
Snake Blocker served in the U.S. Navy Reserves from June 2001 to September 2021 — twenty years of operational, logistics, and leadership work that took him through Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, Italy, Djibouti, Madagascar, Guam, and Okinawa. In 2020 he mobilized with USNS Mercy for the COVID-19 relief mission.
The Navy time runs underneath everything Apache-3 does. The operating tempo is military. The communication style is plain. Tasks have owners. Status reports are honest. Risks surface early. Nothing about Apache-3's small size is an excuse for soft execution.
Two decades of government contracting
Alongside Navy service, Snake spent two decades working in and around government contracting — logistics, deputy program management, role player and training support, and direct support to military operations. That breadth informs how Apache-3 thinks about subcontracting work: small, distributed, mission-focused delivery teams that move when the customer moves.
Native American-owned
Snake is a tribal member of the Lipan Apache Tribe of Texas (Tribal ID #1229), Heron Warrior Clan under the Sun Otter Band. Apache-3 Inc. is recorded in SAM.gov as a Native American-Owned and American Indian Owned business. That ownership is a fact, not a marketing line.

Apache-3 was incorporated in Kansas in June 2019. By design it stays small: a tight leadership team, a small distributed workforce, and consulting / training / subcontracting work scoped to what we can actually deliver.
