Accessibility Statement

Apache-3 Inc. designs and builds apache3.com to be usable by the widest possible audience, including people who navigate with keyboards, screen readers, or other assistive technology.

Our target

We target conformance with the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. The site is designed for keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, sufficient color contrast, descriptive link text, and respect for reduced-motion preferences.

What we've done

  • Skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
  • Semantic heading hierarchy and landmark roles.
  • Keyboard-accessible header, dropdown navigation, and mobile menu (Escape closes, focus is visible).
  • Form fields with explicit labels and validation messages.
  • Sufficient color contrast in body and interactive text against background.
  • Reduced-motion CSS for users who prefer reduced motion.
  • Alt text on meaningful images; decorative graphics marked aria-hidden.

Known limitations

  • The Capability Statement page is print-optimized; users relying on a screen reader should use the on-screen Capability Statement HTML rather than the printed PDF version.
  • External URLs we link to (SAM.gov, partner sites, etc.) may not meet WCAG 2.2 AA themselves. We'll note known issues when we're aware of them.

Report an accessibility issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on apache3.com, please tell us. We'll prioritize fixes that block access to information or to the contact form.

Contact s@apache-3.com or (720) 707-9461 with the URL, what didn't work, and the assistive technology you were using.
